With each new calendar year, I always get the urge to declutter and organize. I wrote here and here about using Marie Kondo's books each January to help as a guide:
So, I thought it was perfectly fitting that the very first week of January, Netflix debuted their new documentary Tidying Up with Marie Kondo!
For everyone who's watched it, she's just the cutest thing ever, right? It's partially subtitled so you'll want to pay attention when you watch (not just have it running in the background while you do other tasks). My favorite part is that there will be sections where she shows the folding methods talked about in her books. It makes so much more sense and it's so much easier to emulate when you see it done! The folding methods are seriously life changing - you can fit double the amount of clothing in the same drawer, and will be able to actually see everything at once! And, speaking of Netflix shows, who has watched You?? It's seriously creepy, disturbing and completely addictive!
After claiming that this baby wasn't into sweets, it's now all I'm craving. #passthenutellaplease

In other baby news, we ordered the nursery furniture! Of course it's all backordered, so I'm not so patiently waiting until March. We chose this vintage style crib:
The matching dresser/changing table, and a sweet bookcase with a bin at the bottom to coral #allthethings.
We're going with creams and whites for the nursery since it needs to be gender neutral, but I couldn't resist picking up these adorable hats (even though I know we'll be using just one of them!).
After a December of lying low, I'm so happy to be out and about and healthy again. I'm crossing my fingers for no more viruses (and bathing in hand sanitizer).
And finally, we had a visit from Nana and Papa in from Dallas this past week! Check out these Christmas shirts they brought for our little dino lover! I mean, I still have my Christmas china on rotation...
Happy Weekend, Y'all!
Glad you are feeling better! I haven't checked out the MK show yet but want to!
