We have some exciting news... Parker is going to be a big brother! Baby brother or sister will be arriving in April of 2019, and we just couldn't be more thrilled.
Parker has been asking for a sibling for ages. While first-time infertility is hard because you have the fear that you'll never be a parent, secondary infertility is difficult in a different way, wondering if you'll ever be able to give your child a sibling. You also have the guilt that you already have a healthy child, and shouldn't you just be happy with that? Any way you slice it, there are a million emotions associated with infertility, and if you're going through it right now, my heart goes out to you. For us, our journey was relatively short this time - one year, five failed cycles of Clomid and a chemical pregnancy... and here we are now, almost thirteen weeks along! Hello, second trimester!
When we first told Parker, he said that we should postpone our fall break trip to the Cayman Islands so baby could come! Melt my heart sweet. We explained that the baby would still be joining us, it would just be in my tummy 😉 More to come on our Caribbean vacay and on the newest Baby Klein!
Congratulations! I have been praying for you. Parker will be a wonderful big brother!
